What Are You Doing For The Holidays?

What Are You Doing For The Holidays? You may be enjoying wonderful HOLIDAY gatherings with family and friends or traveling to exotic warm places. Many of you will be spending time celebrating the season, while finishing up year-end work and planning for next year.

Yes, excitement is high this time of the year, and so is the STRESS level of the holidays for many I am sure.

Now, imagine dealing with the stress of the holidays in such a unique way that allows us to feel the joy of the holidays, while creating the best vision of who we want to become as individuals and entrepreneurs? This is exactly the gift I received from my Teacher’s latest Teleseminar:

“Raise Your Belief Level To Turn Stress Of the Season To More Joy For The Season”
Tulshi Sen, author of Ancient Secrets Of Success For Today’s World, describes the three causes of stress and how it gets triggered, robbing us of the Holidays’ true purpose. He says, “The Holiday is for empowerment. We just finished thanksgiving and are full of gratitude for the Harvest of our Life. This is a time to go deep beneath the surface of the snow and meditate and vision for the spring to sprout a new life and bring forth the process of growth.”

He also talks about this being a time to let go and allow ourselves to follow the natural process. “It is a quiet, contemplative time, away from all negativity.  We don’t want to rush. We must let ourselves go and let whatever comes, come. We must follow nature.”

For those of us who typically feel a sense of urgency and the need to accomplish goals within an self-imposed time-frame, this certainly is a welcome breath of fresh air. Mr. Sen reminds us to just be present, grateful and giving and to let go of all other expectations from others.

He also reminds us that stress can be leveraged for power, but only if we have a purpose and vision for our lives. If we already have a vision, but it’s causing us frustration and worry, then it’s not really a vision.

“Vision Is A Sight, which need not be manifested because it’s already there. A Vision becomes manifest. We do not manifest a vision. We live it. We have to see it to believe it.”

As entrepreneurs it’s easy to get so caught up in the stress of the doing and the getting that we forget the Real Secret to Success is knowing we already have what we want and letting the Universe find the best way to unfold it for us. The more we can raise our belief level and get out of our own way, the less stress we will experience in the long run.

Stress is a great indicator of where we have placed our thoughts. He says that “Our stress comes out of our (lack of) belief level. Do we believe that we can accomplish our goals? If we believe we can, we cannot be stressed.”

When we can welcome the real message our Consciousness is trying to tell us, we can turn the stress into power. All of nature works this way. Evolution is proof of it.

Metamorphosis
Most of us are familiar with the miracle of the caterpillar becoming a monarch butterfly. This process is taught in basic science classes in most schools around the world. The transformation of the caterpillar into a butterfly is one of the most powerful examples of purposeful stress turned into power.

But, how many of us recognize that these same principles can apply to our own journey as entrepreneurs? All the great stories of success point to these principles of transformation of stress from one form or another into success.

I love listening to Mr. Tulshi Sen describing this process. Each time I listen to the telecast, I gain a much deeper heart-felt understanding of how I can apply this to my own journey. It inspires me to persevere with new levels of patience and feelings for my vision as I create this new cycle of my life.

How Do You Achieve Your Vision When it’s Beyond Your Existing Circumstances

Let us take a journey into the heart of the entrepreneur, where impossible dreams are conceived out of no-thing:

The Visioning Process

You are living at the center of your being. You ask yourself, “What do I want to create for my business? This is your intention.

How Do You Achieve Your Vision When it's Beyond Your Existing CircumstancesYour want comes out of lack. It forms the embryo of your vision. It triggers your imagination, which is the womb that nurtures your vision to shape what you want to create.

If you know you can have it by existing means available, it’s not really a vision. It’s just a to-do list. A true vision comes from something that did not exist before.

Once we see it done, the vision is ours. We already have it inside. While living and growing the vision in the womb of our imagination, we carry out our daily activities with due diligence and a heightened sense of awareness and expectation. And, because we actually see it done already, the Universe gets to work to bring us all the needed tools. Manifestation is our vision’s birth in the physical world.

The great teachers, east and west say the same thing. For example, Jesus of Nazareth said, ” What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

And this is how truly successful entrepreneurs live; with certainty and awakened Consciousness.

Raising Your Belief Level

The power of the universe is inside us. Do we see it? Are we nurturing our vision? We can harness this power only when we are living and creating from our authentic self. When we are in that energy, the vision will develop.

More importantly, we need to work on our own personality. And that’s where the real work begins because our environment, our upbringing and our ingrained habits interpret that want and tell us that we can’t have it, because it’s beyond our current means.

We have to really believe in what we want and not make-believe it. Tulshi Sen, author of Ancient Secrets Of Success For Today’s World says, “To train the mind to believe we create out of no-thing is our mission in life.” The mind cannot vision. It can only project the future based on our past and present conditions. We have to convince the mind to obey our heart, our consciousness.

That is where the four proclamations come in. These simple meditative practices transform the personality by freeing the mind from past conditioning, current limitations and fear of the future.

We can’t effectively use the mind to convince the mind. We have to transcend the mind with the deep insights from consciousness. And that’s an inner journey.

Nurturing Your Inner Environment

Look inside your own heart for the answers to what you want for your business and your own development. When we believe that in the want is the power of the Universe with all its means, then we can get it. As Tulshi Sen says, ” Every desire carries its own mathematics with it. It has all the means in it, if we can really believe in it.” All contradictions will melt away.

I have found that when I get caught up too much in my head, I get overwhelmed by choices and decisions that need to be made. A part of me just wants to escape and I either delay taking relevant action or end up reversing decisions made under scarcity pressures. It’s a waste of energy, time and money.

It is only when I get back into my heart by surrendering to my Consciousness, do I find the peace and clarity to move forward again. That’s where real power lies. Appropriate action will come as a natural response to a raised belief level. Then I can see opportunities and self-development choices from a whole new vantage point. That’s when I and my vision become one and goal setting become its natural follow-through.

The Universe doesn’t make mistakes. But the mind frequently misses the mark unless the belief level is raised by our consciousness.

Know Why You Want It

We can begin by questioning our own motives for creating what we want to create. We do this from the place of knowing that everything we need is there to manifest what our heart wants. The universe is just waiting for us to uncover, focus and hold fast to what we want.

When we know what we really want and believe it in our heart, the means will present itself. That’s the Law of the Universe.

It’s important to keep asking ourselves, “What is my deep burning desire?” Desire is not a lament. It is a promise waiting to be fulfilled by the power of your Vision.

Here is Tulshi Sen’s audiocast that inspired this post. May it feed your own exploration.

Do you Know What You Really Want?

What Do You Really Want?I’ve been participating in Tulshi Sen’s (author of Ancient Secrets Of Success For Today’s World) wonderful audio webcasts about goal setting from a raised belief level. His insights are universal and especially appeal to the entrepreneur wanting to make a meaningful difference in the success of their business and life.

Right off the bat, Tulshi Sen challenges us with, “When we set goals and our mind knows it can achieve it, it is not a vision, it is a to-do list.”

How often in business have we been guilty of this, by passing off our sure-bets as goal-setting? Too often?

Goal Setting Compromised
In my corporate experience this was labeled as the ‘A for Attainment’ element when setting SMART goals. I remember being puzzled by this. Now I see it was really a process for organizing and managing plans, capacities and responsibilities. It did have some degree of stretch you could financially project. But, since compensation was tied to the attainment, it bred a certain level of caution. Of course, this was an easier process when you were in a growth business, as I was. What was missing was the emphasis on raising your belief level to bring you and your team into new possibilities and visions.

Raising Your Belief Level
80% or more of attaining Success has to do with raising your belief level. The rest is details, responsibly managed, of course. Ask any truly successful entrepreneur. They pursue their goals from a raised belief level, often against the collective minds of others. It is that kind of faith in themselves that creates their success. If they don’t succeed the first time, they keep at it until they make success their process.

You see, our belief level is a measure of our capacity to want more for our business and our life. And we cannot raise our belief level based on what we think we can get. It demands more of us. It demands that we grow beyond our fear of failure.

Knowing What You Really Want
Most people know deep inside what they really want, and it’s always more than who they are being right now. Yet fear of failure makes most people shove it under the rug and stick with the status quo. So the journey gets aborted before it begins.

Yet there exists inside each of us an innate desire to reach out for more joy, more abundance and more love. Ask your heart, “What do you want?”

With no want, you have no Vision. And as Tulshi Sen says, “A life without Vision is a blind life. A life without direction is an unloved life.” So let’s love ourselves and find out what we really want.

Here is the audiocast to inspire your own exploration.

Entrepreneur, You Don’t Get What You Want In Life, You Get What You Are

All the great leaders and motivators agree with this fundamental truth. “You Don’t Get What You Want, You Get What You Are”, says Tulshi Sen, in the Master Key For Success. James Allen, in As a Man Thinketh, says, “Men do not attract that which they want, but that which they are.”

Les Brown, Motivational Speaker and Writer

Who You Are
Les Brown, in his interview with Armand Morin, subscribes to this same bold truth, “You don’t get what you want in life, you get what you are.” He explained how his unusual early childhood molded his heart and mind for the motivational writing and speaking he does around the world today.

Labeled as a child with EMR (eligibly mentally retarded) he was teased at school as the ‘dumb twin’ of his family. Fortunately, Les had an extraordinary mother, Mamie Brown, who at the age of 42 adopted 8 children, including the twins Les and Wesley. She saw the greatness in each of her children.

Les was also inspired by motivational masters, at an early age, while helping to clean the home office at his mother’s work as a domestic. There he was first exposed to the works of Normal Vincent Peale and Napoleon Hill, two giants in the field of motivational self-development.

Dream Bigger
Les asks his students to consider three things when setting their goals and dreams: what do they want to accomplish on a personal level, on a earning level and on a contribution level. He says that most people fail not because they aim too high but because they aim too low and hit it.

Only 2% of people, who feel that hunger or urge to do something, actually go to seminars. He reminded us of the great American philosopher, Henry David Thoreau’ s words, “Do not go where the path may lead on. Instead go where there is no path and leave a trail”.

Les reminds us, “When you have a vision of yourself, beyond your circumstances and mental conditioning, that is a blessing and don’t lose it.” Surround yourself with like-minded people who will challenge you to be your best. Everyone has greatness within themselves, and some may already be feeling it in their heart.

Take Action
When you do step out to experience new things, show up in the spirit of expectation. You have it in you to do something you’ve never done before, to die to your old self and give birth to who you can become.

Les asked us to memorize the words ‘Recessions Restore Resourcefulness’ . And he reminded us that the people who are making it in this time of ‘accelerating change, overwhelming complexity and tremendous competition’ (Peter Drucker’s words) are people who are resourceful.

Les says that most people get stuck because they don’t know what they have going for themselves. They don’t know how to make money with their God-Given gifts. And, they don’t know how to gain access to the people who will pay them for what they know.

Overcome Self-Imposed Obstacles
Ironically, in Les Brown’s own personal journey, the hardest thing for him to learn was to believe in himself, believe he could do what his heart was aching to do. He was longing to go out there and change people’s lives by teaching them how to be unstoppable. Yet he found reasons for not taking action, and in those stressful moments he, himself, became stoppable.

Fortunately he was constantly reminded by his mentor for fourteen years straight and a teacher (in executive development at the time) to not allow where he was at that moment to define who he was. He needed to be a ‘no matter what’ person to develop himself to be the message that he wanted to bring into the world.

This advice reminded him of who he really was and his desire to do something bigger with his life. It was always in him to reach beyond his current situation. As a school boy, Les, the child from ‘Special Ed’ class, won the contest from Norman Vincent Peale, who read it in his now famous speech, ‘You Have Greatness In You’.

“Shoot for the moon because even if you fail, you’ll land among the stars”. That was Les Brown’s quote. Imagine that!

Entrepreneur, Do You Believe You Will Have Whatever You Vision?

Living In The VisionThe successful ones carry their vision with them everywhere and at all times. Their vision has become a part of them. Great leaders made huge sacrifices to get to this level of success. They now embody their vision. Albeit, some do wear a few battle scars, as badges of honor, marking the challenges they faced and conquered along the way.

These entrepreneurs will tell you it was worth every pain and opposition, because it pushed them forward in the direction of their dreams. Problems became stepping stones to discover their true expression in a particular product, service or purpose, as the case may be.

Question is, are you fired up about your vision? Do you feel it in your bones? And, are you able to sustain your vision?

Are You Stuck?
Most people get tangled up at this stage. Many entrepreneurs do manage to set their vision and goals. Then almost immediately, powerful opposing forces set in to test them or slowly tear away at those dreams. It may take the form of well-meaning friends and family or the current economic environment. Even more dangerously, their own doubts and fears take over.

We need to continually ask ourselves, what are we visioning? If we find ourselves picturing that we can’t have our beloved vision for whatever reason, then we’ve lost our belief, haven’t we?

So how can we continually believe we will have whatever we vision?

All the masters and teachers of all ages say the same thing: that whatever you can vision and believe in, you will have.

Secret Of Success
The real secret is to raise our belief level to desire what we could only fantasize before …and previously hold as a vision for only a few seconds or two. We are, in effect, training ourselves to become more resilient. And when we become more resilient, we don’t need the level of security we thought we would. We are ready to step out there, beyond the fears that used to hold us back, and make our mark in the world.

Raising our belief level increases our happiness quotient, our self-love and resilience. What has love got to do with it, you may ask? Everything actually!

Low self-love breeds low self-esteem and we become afraid. As Tulshi Sen says, “You don’t get what you want, you get what you are.” Are we afraid that we are not good enough? Can we let ourselves imagine what our heart is longing to express and contribute in our world? Will we allow ourselves to experience the romance of self and extend that to our business and our life?

Our intention, to be all we can be, comes out of our consciousness and is the fire of our desires. It sparks our imagination to create the visions we want to manifest.

Imagination Is Your True Power

Now, our belief level reflects our capacity to imagine. It can either enhance the process or shut it down. When we feel romance, we lose all fear and believe we can be, do and have our heart’s desires. We create new visions out of our active imagery that has been unleashed. Our imagination is our true power, our only power. Even Einstein said that imagination is greater than knowledge.

For most people, the imagination has been locked up in a padlock and needs a Master Key to open it up again, and to keep you on track. The great philosophers and leaders throughout the ages successfully utilized graphical active imagery to keep their imaginations and resourcefulness intact during times of crisis and change.

This Master Key lives inside our heart and when unleashed lets us boldly go where we have never gone before.

Are You Becoming The Entrepreneur You Want To Be?

Are You Becoming The Entrepreneur You Want To Be?Yes? Here’s what you’ll experience:
you are living in your true vision. It fits with the Consciousness of who you really are. You’re continuously shedding your old skin and developing your new personality that’s compatible with this magnificent vision of yours.

Keenly aware that your pains and failures came out of the old personality that held you back, you focus your attention on what you want, with clarity of purpose. You deeply believe the Universe will give it to you, regardless of your present circumstances, skills and knowledge.

As you become your vision, you are unconcerned as to how it will manifest. What’s more, you go about your day to day activities, knowing your evolving Consciousness is leading you to the realization of your vision. And when those momentary lapses of disbelief slip in, you don’t panic or frantically force yourself back into your vision. Instead, you use these moments as an opportunity to re-affirm your Consciousness as being the Creator. And you acknowledge these aberrations as just passing images as you travel towards your destination.

Most importantly, you feel you’ve already arrived. You have no doubt about your journey. And you are ready to live your new life. All-aboard!

My Teacher, Tulshi Sen, author of Ancient Secrets of Success for Today’s World beautifully explains how to achieve this state of being in the first audiocast here, called: Vision Must Fit Consciousness

Now, the ‘mind’ won’t accept this just because we said so, or because we forced a few affirmations its way. No. We must genuinely convince the mind. And it’s impossible to convince the mind with the mind or intellect, no matter how brilliant it may be. It takes a much more profound method to bypass the security guard of the mind to enter your heart directly.

In this second audiocast, Mr. Sen discusses exactly what is needed to manifest our vision, by showing us how to hold a vision. He explains that none of the theories of success will help us here. Only Consciousness can believe that we create something out of nothing by visioning it. To bring our vision into manifestation, we must know and believe that our vision will manifest.

As Entrepreneurs, we need to believe, and not make-believe, that if we hold a vision, it will manifest, no matter what our circumstances are, what others say, or whether it’s been done before or not. If we can conceive, believe and hold the vision, we can manifest it. All the great Masters have said so.

But how can we believe we don’t need anything else? Tulshi Sen shows us three kinds of meditation to help us do this in: Meditation For Manifestation
