Do you Know What You Really Want?

by Aditi Walsh

What Do You Really Want?I’ve been participating in Tulshi Sen’s (author of Ancient Secrets Of Success For Today’s World) wonderful audio webcasts about goal setting from a raised belief level. His insights are universal and especially appeal to the entrepreneur wanting to make a meaningful difference in the success of their business and life.

Right off the bat, Tulshi Sen challenges us with, “When we set goals and our mind knows it can achieve it, it is not a vision, it is a to-do list.”

How often in business have we been guilty of this, by passing off our sure-bets as goal-setting? Too often?

Goal Setting Compromised
In my corporate experience this was labeled as the ‘A for Attainment’ element when setting SMART goals. I remember being puzzled by this. Now I see it was really a process for organizing and managing plans, capacities and responsibilities. It did have some degree of stretch you could financially project. But, since compensation was tied to the attainment, it bred a certain level of caution. Of course, this was an easier process when you were in a growth business, as I was. What was missing was the emphasis on raising your belief level to bring you and your team into new possibilities and visions.

Raising Your Belief Level
80% or more of attaining Success has to do with raising your belief level. The rest is details, responsibly managed, of course. Ask any truly successful entrepreneur. They pursue their goals from a raised belief level, often against the collective minds of others. It is that kind of faith in themselves that creates their success. If they don’t succeed the first time, they keep at it until they make success their process.

You see, our belief level is a measure of our capacity to want more for our business and our life. And we cannot raise our belief level based on what we think we can get. It demands more of us. It demands that we grow beyond our fear of failure.

Knowing What You Really Want
Most people know deep inside what they really want, and it’s always more than who they are being right now. Yet fear of failure makes most people shove it under the rug and stick with the status quo. So the journey gets aborted before it begins.

Yet there exists inside each of us an innate desire to reach out for more joy, more abundance and more love. Ask your heart, “What do you want?”

With no want, you have no Vision. And as Tulshi Sen says, “A life without Vision is a blind life. A life without direction is an unloved life.” So let’s love ourselves and find out what we really want.

Here is the audiocast to inspire your own exploration.

To The Online Entrepreneur, Process Is Everything

by Aditi Walsh

Tom Hau, International Entrepreneur and Internet MarketerTom Hua, Armand Morin’s second speaker interviewed for BigSeminar 13, understood early on the importance of process to the entrepreneur. He started marketing on the internet in 1994. Having left his off-line business world, and spending 17 months educating himself on the emerging internet. he had no money left to speak of.

His first product, a mere a $10 booklet brought him his initial success. He then moved on to create an ebook package filled with extra resources and bonuses. It turned out to be the first of its kind in the Internet Marketing industry. Tom kept focusing on adding increasing value with each subsequent product offering, each of which was designed to get massive back-links to his website.

Tom went on to build a unique website hosting company for small businesses that runs itself, without need for his direct involvement. This strategy of creating self-run businesses gives freedom to the entrepreneur to focus on what they really love, which is seeking out opportunities and creating new value in the marketplace.

This strategy of continual focus on process and getting things just right is what led to the multimillion dollar successes Tom enjoys today.

Seeing the trend for outsourcing only growing, Tom took a calculated risk and entered the software development business in China four years ago. He says that you have to be unafraid to invest money and resources to grow your business, even if it ends up failing. If you are enjoying the process, failure just becomes a learning opportunity for continuous improvement. His software business is now reaping its huge rewards in a growing marketplace.

Tom’s philosophy is: when you bring your internet business to the next level, you enter a new dimension of success because you enjoyed the process of creating it. Being in love with the process is key. And when you master your own unique process for success, you can take it anywhere to create more successes.

Tom loves to teach others how to get started on the internet and help them take their business to the next level. He says that you really have to understand the process. Having an in-demand product to sell, you create the website for it to meet its marketplace and bring a constant flow of traffic to it.

Mastering these three parts sets you up for success, no matter if you’re just starting out, or you are already building your business to new levels of success. You can always improve the process, and as an entrepreneur that’s where enjoyment is truly found.

Entrepreneur Mastery Through Tulshi Sen’s “Ancient Secrets Of Success For Today’s World” – Part 2

by Aditi Walsh

Entrepreneur Mastery- part 2Everything we have or have not created for our business is fundamentally the result of our thinking. This includes our successes and failures. There are no exceptions.

Now that may be a hard truth to swallow, especially with today’s global economic forces and challenges. (In reality these dynamic forces, too, are the result of collective group thinking, but that’s the subject for another discussion).

Our thinking mindset brings us everything: the good, the bad and the ugly.  But if that’s all there is to it, then you could say, “No problem, I’ll just focus on the good stuff, right?” Well, that depends on where you are placing your attention and how strong you are in your true being.

Relying On Circumstances
For instance, some of you may take the attitude of making do with what you already have. Or, you try to think of ways to get out of a certain situation you find yourself in by manipulating, trading off or economizing what you already have for what you think is necessary. Or, you may just resign yourself to making the best of a bad situation.

This type of thinking is constructive at best and lacks imagination. Tulshi Sen calls it ‘worm thinking’.  It is thinking inside the box, where your circumstances dictate your thinking.

Einstein tells us that we cannot solve a problem at the same level that we created it. Solutions require that you step outside of your current situation to allow your imagination to bring you new ideas and approaches.

Lack Of Focus
This next type of thinking is endemic today, especially to information marketers. There’s so much to learn and absorb that it’s impossible to keep up with the flood of information and you suck in everything that comes at you. It become hard to differentiate the good stuff from the regurgitated mis-information, especially when you are a new online entrepreneur.

Your world becomes chaotic and you quickly lose focus. You get too busy and frantic to see what you originally desired to create for your business. You get caught up in the minutia and cannot see the forest for the trees. Stress sets in and you’ve lost the joy of entrepreneurship. This has been a too familiar scenario for me.

Tulshi Sen calls this ‘fly thinking’, where you flit from positive to negative and negative to positive and ultimately get nowhere. You go from one crisis to another and become exhausted and depleted.

Entrepreneur Mastery
The third type of thinking lifts you completely out of the first two ways of thinking and sets you on the path to complete mastery of your own thoughts. You powerfully focus solely on your Vision. You learn to quickly discern what belongs in your business or not, and you let go of everything else.

Tulshi Sen calls this ‘bee thinking’, where the bee thinks of nothing else but producing the honey. When you build your thought character like a bee, you become wealthy in the nectar of life.

Now the expression “busy like a bee” takes on a whole new meaning. You create your own abundance in the nectar of busy-ness (i.e. business). Life become blissful. And you enjoy its riches.

Tulshi Sen, a Master of success thinking and author of Ancient Secrets of Success For Today’s World, shows us how we can take control of our thinking. Through the Four Proclamations of your own truth, you’ll learn to think the thoughts you want to think, and not the thoughts you don’t want to think.
